Eyes in the boulder

Does anyone know what the eyes in the boulder at Zora's Domain is all about? Are you actually supposed to do something about it or is it just a nice observation, haha. Thanks

It's a Goron. If you blow up the boulder with a water bomb, he'll give you a present.

If you don't know where Water Bombs are, right before the Water Temple, you can go to Barnes Shop (the last shop on the left) in Kakikiro Village.
