Factor 5 will show people what Wii is capable of
Don't get your hopes up. I'm pretty sure Mario, Metroid, and Brawl maxed out the graphical capabilities of the wii. If you don't think that those games looks nice then I don't think the rest will be any better.
Using this as a selling point is a very bad idea when dealing with the Wii. Maxing the Wiis graphics out is in no way going to impress graphics whores, and won't matter to the others who just want gameplay.
Factor 5 seems to making another Lair as opposed to a Rogue Squadron, but I could be wrong.
Well if history tells us anything, I think it will be better than SMG/MP3/Brawl
Factor 5 made the best looking game on N64 and Gamecube over Nintendo games. Im confident they can do the same with the Wii.
I'm sorry non beleivers, but he's right. Unlike %90 of recent Wii developers Factor 5 is not a lazy developer.
Rougue Squadron for Gamecube still looks beter than half the stuff lazy developers are pushing out on Wii. Expect a "finished game".
never heard of them but by looking at above post's im guessing ill be happy with game as long as it is good (gameplay etc) what kinda games do they make ?
I am quite excited for this.
I always love hearing developer talking about wanting to make good games, and I am sure we will be seeing more of the same this year.
Rumored titles include a new Kid Icarus game, but who knows?
Man if Factor 5 made the new Kid Icarus.....holy $#!t.
I firmly believe that the Wii's graphics are excellent, and purposely pushing them to their limits will produce some great stuff that will surprise some people. Remember when people thought the Gamecube's graphics were kinda crap, then out of nowhere Resident Evil 4 stunned us with it's beauty?!?
The same thing can easily happen again. And let's remember that different KINDS of games can allow for different levels of graphical beauty. A game where not TOO much is happening on screen at once can allow for some EXTREMELY good graphics, whereas a game with a million things flying all over the place simply can't hold up AS well. So it'll depend on what type of game they're developing.
Art direction is just as important too. Like in Metroid Prime 3, the graphics were great, but it wasn't because they were "high-def" or anything like that, it was the actual creations WITHIN the game ITSELF, artistically, that made the graphics great....there's a lot to consider when judging graphics, so I hope people don't knock them just because they're not XB360 quality sharpness.
Yes! This is just what wii needs! I'm so annoyed by the crap developers have been making for nintendo. I can't wait to find out what game Factor 5 is doing.
Something that poeple need to keep in mind is that the Core Game itself is what makes a video game fun. The graphics are a nice side dish to have but poeple generally don't enjoy games just becuase they look pretty.
I do congratulate the Factor 5 developers. The feel that the Wii's full potential needs to be exploited. Not like those lazy developers (remember Marvel Ultimate Alliance on Wii? It's fun but looked worse than a ps2 game).
Basically, even if you made an absolutely Beautiful version of E.T. from Atari 2600 it would still be a horrible game nonetheless. Playability comes first.
