lmao! that's funny. Pixmania is a joke! I would advise you get on the phone and inform them that what they have supplied you is illegal. I'm pretty sure if they market it as for use in the UK then they are required to supply the correct AC adaptor.
Just google to see is French Wii's support PAL format. UK uses PAL
I bought a German one and I was told that the UK games would work. Mine didn't come with a AC adapter either. I'm not using it until Christmas so I don't know yet.
