Wow, this guy should get a medal for being both the worst camera man and biggest n00b when it comes to playing games. "Oh, I guess I should plug in a Gamecube controller...I can't tell which is the first player slot...Oh, I guess I should plug in a memory card...Ah! It's freaking out! Why won't it stop scrolling through the menu!? What do I DO!!??"

Yeah, I mean it would have been nice if the memory card went in far enough so the flap that covers it could close for when you want to take Wii to a LAN party or friend's house, but it's really not that big a problem, especially since you only need the memory card in there when playing a GC game, which like you pointed out, causes the other flap to be open as well, so the point is moot.

I wonder, though, if it would be that difficult for Nintendo to either make a new, shorter GC memory card, or better yet, allow GC games to save to either Wii's internal 512MB or an SD card?

hmm.. i don't think it would be that hard to make a smaller memory card, but how would you pull it out?

And I still don't know why we cant save to the Wii's 512mb internal memory; people have said because the game doesn't know its playing on the Wii or something like that, but the Wii knows so why cant it make it save into the Wii memory?

The guy in the first video is a big newbie when it comes to games... it doesn't matter what slot you put it in, you held the up button while it was loading. Happens to me all the time when starting Ssbm.
