Gamecube game recommendations?

I pretty much skipped the last generation of consoles. I have an xbox, but i have only ever used it for a media centre. So when I got my wii I decided I might have a quick look at what I had missed and bought a couple of game cube games off eBay: Smash Bros Melee and Super Mario Sunshine.

They are A_W_S_O_M_E (especially smash bros; puts N64 version to shame!).

Now I have caught the bug, and am excited to catch up on what I have been missing for several years. This may be the wii's biggest selling point, as there are many people in my position that, for one reason or another, did not get a GC.

Anyway, does anyone else have any recommendations for gamecube games us late-commers should pick up?

cool, i also recently converted from the playstation craze. and i am also excited about the lineup of games to play. i am currently playing mario sunshine on my wii and i think i will try twin snakes next.
p.s: sunshine is excellent. also download mario kart 64!
