Gamecube games on the Wii - bad resolution

Has anyone noticed the graphics and resolution of gamecube games being played on the wii are horrible and very dark? I've been popping in my Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes and Call of Duty 2 gamecube games into the Wii and the graphics don't look good at all. The screens are dark and there is just a lot of "black" areas. Will adding the component cables to the system make these games look better? Do anyone have the answer to this backwards compatibility issue?

I haven't noticed it. I have been playing smash bros and haven't noticed it. Hmmm now im curious lol

Played Soul Caliber 2, Kirby Air-ride or whatever its called, and Metroid Prime and I think they look identical to on a GameCube.

HAHA! ok, good....the only thing i was wondering was if smash bros was ok...tha'ts like the only cube game i'd buy I think. LOL

Was your gamecube running on Component Cables? If so that might be the problem. Twin Snakes look exactly the same as the Gamecube for me.
