Gamecube "ONLY FOR"

I have a question about gamecube games that work for the wii. I see couple of games at bestbuy and i'm wondering of those gamecube games that saids "ONLY FOR" works for the wii? or it's just work for gamecube system only.

They work on the Wii. The box's were designed before the Wii.

Basicly every GC Game works on the Wii, ask at bestbuy what the ONLY FOR means, I don't know

I was going to buy Mario Kart Double Dash and i'm not sure it will work for the wii or not. Because i saw the box and it saids "ONLY FOR" Nintendo Gamecube

that just means it was only made on the gamecube.

it says "only for" because at the time, the game was made only for GC.

Actually, it means it's an exclusive title to the gamecube and really. Like Gran Turismo would be a playstation exclusive.
