So my impressions:

Nintendo is doing very well with those NPC! numbers. Consumers are eating up Mario Power Tennis despite a good tennis game being included with Wii Sports.

Overkill is also doing quite well for a vulgar rail shooter at $50 and should eventually sell over 500,000.

Deadly Creatures is a flop at 50,000. I think that game would've done much better had it been released as a holiday title. It'll eventually sell pretty good I think with a price drop, but I'm surprised to see the game not getting bought more by younger boys. Then again I guess younger boys don't have $50.

Tenchu and DR:CTYD are both doing ok.

Sad part is, thew developers said they were "testing the waters" with this tittle. What is it with developers and "testing the waters" with quirky games on the Wii?? This is where High Voltage has it right and all others have it wrong.

That's like me developing a Mario Kart style racer where you race through the sky as a fly. Then turning around and saying "well since my fly-racer didn't sell well on Wii I guess I won't be developing that kick ass survival horror adventure..."

The list is actually quite depressing. 3-5 year old games re-released with minimal control changes reaching the top is a bit on the "wha?" side. Wishing Madworld or another stand out title would show up and shine, but it doesn't look that way. Many of these games probably won't peak the 500-750k mark.

If MadWorld were released in '07 or '08 it would've sold so much better. Wii's hardcore audience is dying, however, while the casuals flock in. Those that would've purchased this are already playing Killzone 2 and Street Fighter IV and whatever else on the other consoles.

Mario Tennis is only at the top because it's being advertised all over TV, which then means the idiots watching TV will be like, oh I'll buy that for my child for Easter or their birthday etc.. The advert doesn't appeal to me one bit, as I'd rather play Wii Sports Tennis in my opinion.

I believe Madworld, Tenchu, and HOTD are doing very well. As someone said above it seems the Wii "Hardcore"(that word is still very loosely defined) audience is dying. So to but up 100k in sales is very good. Keep up the good work and all those "Hardcore" players may come back.

Shame that Deadly Creatures didn't sell all that well, it really isn't all that bad of a game. Guitar Hero Metallica is selling nicely. Good to see MadWorld and House Of The Dead Overkill are getting some good numbers.

Well, Mario Power Tennis looks to be well on it's way to being the Wii's first 1,000,000 seller of '09.

Sonic has been given a strong boost by its drop to $30.

EA Active and Punch Out numbers are just after 1 week, so they're doing both very good.

Bash Party is doing pretty poorly, surprising becasue the original sold over 930,000 copies.

Those Little King Story numbers are just for Europe so far, but that's a bit disappointing as well.

EA Sports Active is a huge seller.

Punch Out is seeing solid sales.

Tiger 10 had a pretty good debut. The Wii version outsold all other verisons.
