Games to look forward to?

By late 08 or early 09 there will be another Zelda game on the Wii so thats pretty cool

I doubt it. Even if Nintendo says so. Don't trust them.

I don't think Nintendo aimed this console at the hardcore fighting market, they have quite cleverly positioned this console to attract the attention of a wider audience, making it more family (young and old) orientated.
They obviously see this as a market not yet captured by the Xbox or PS2 etc, therefore I can't see these types of depressing games getting the full publicity.
The Wii is about fun interactive gaming, not high definition violence.

Maybe not to the extent PS3 or 360 but one of Nintendo's goals were to get more M rated games.

Can you imagine a DooM game on the Wii? It doesn't even have to be DooM III but another game made specifically for the Wii. Or even a specialised version of SiN - Episodes or Half-Life! or something with super-cool online multiplayer
