Getting the lens cleaned

So what happens after you get it cleaned, play Brawl for a few weeks, and then it gets dirty again?

I live in a college apartment with 3 other guys. It's not like my system is in the cleanest environment...

Presumibly the lense gets replaced with a stronger one. I have a theory that the newer Wii's have a stronger one pre installed, which makes me even more worried.

Then again my brother has a Wii here too, and a new one at that..so I hopefully will be covered.
