First off, they put this in the "Wii Quickies" section of the reviews, i would think it deserved at least a half page review. they also reviewed Battilion Wars 2 this issue (January 2008, wtf? a bit late guys?)

MOH Heroes 2 is better than its Wii predecessor, Vanguard, largely because its basic controls actually work. Despite achieving playability, the controls are not out of the woods yet, the motions that take your reticle off the screen, like reloading or throwing a grenade, feel disorienting and can throw you off your game in the midst of battle. The gameplay is your cookie cutter WWII remix: wander serpentine dockyards and cities, and clear bunches of Nazis on the way to your mission objective. But at least the game supports multiplayer; though the offerings hardly compete with the big boys, Wii owners finally get a taste of just how addictive these matches can be.
Bit harsh dont you think? I mean i havent played the game..but the other reviews gave it a higher score, like 8s i beleive?

Other Wii Scores:
Soulcalibur Legends:4
Ghost Squad:7
Battalion Wars 2:7.25
Endless Ocean:6
Trauma Center: New Blood:7.5
Dancing with the Stars:6.75
Jenga: 2 (lol)
Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles:8.25
Raving Rabbids 2:7.75
Smarty Pants:7.5
Super Mario Galaxy: 9.75

lol jenga 2...might look for game play footage..who does like a game of jenga

ye does seem harsh they only discussed negitives and make it seem crap

Wait? "Finally"? I thought I read that already. Hmm, maybe im thinking of another reviewer.

The review seems pretty accurate to me. You probably overrate it because its the first online WWII shooter for Nintendo (Assuming you havent played other WWII shooters, I didnt look at who you were). But GameInformer rates it OVERALL compared to all games including Xbox/PS3/PC. So it may seem really fun to u, but if you've played other shooters like CoD2/CoD4 its very mediocre. Which is why I would never buy it unless I only had a Wii. But seeing as I have a 360 its much better to use your money on CoD4. The score rounds up to a 7 which is seen as:

"Average. The game’s features may work, but are nothing that even casual players haven’t seen before. A decent game from beginning to end."

Which is true, like I said above, if you've played other war shooters, its something that you've seen and its just another average war shooter.

Although, I might still get this game when it gets $30 if alot of ppl still play it. But only cuz you get to aim with wii-mote.

You're just generalizing. You have no idea how awesome the controls are, they are literally better than a mouse and keyboard. Not lying.

But, whatever, go back to playing COD4 and looking for porn in your mom's basement.

was the flaming really nessecary? his post wasnt offensive in the slightest, he made a very valid point. quit being so defensive, fanboy.

I find the review to be alright actually.
Campaign was lacking, visuals are bland. Multiplayer was the only good thing, and the controls do work quite well though.

I never played a Medal Of Honor game before, but this one was pretty good.

I'd give it a 7, Online is fun but campaign suked and you can'tdo that pistol thing like in Red Steel. I like holding guns all Gangsterlike. makes me feel big.

Best shooter overall? Or best Online shooter?

I think MP3 is better no? I wouldn't really cuz I havent played MP3 yet but ide bet on it.

Unless u mean best Online which is true, then again its the only online shooter on Wii.

Ok, well the review is negative but somewhat accurate. The only place they are off on is the controls, not sure what exactly they are expecting in the form of Wii shooter controls, but imo, MP3 showed what could be done with controls and MOH, added a bit to it with the fine tuning. And I agree, I find the Wii controls more intuitive than a keyboard and mouse, there is a small adjustment curve you have to overcome but once you get there it is by far the most natural experience. I have MP3, MOH:H2, and TF2, I play all three and while TF2 is by far the best online experience for team based gaming, it lacks in the controls compared to MP3 and MOH. MP3 however lacks in the fact that it could have been so much more of a gaming experience had online been included, while MOH lacks graphical and in the redundancy that is a WWII shooter which has been done over and over and over again, but at the same time we all know that and have come to expect it from this genre of game.

And while I am at it, about these so called experts that review games, just what the hell are they talking about. For instance the above review mentions the controls, but just what exactly are they basing anything on, with the Wii there is no other console for comparison, so is it just a matter of opinion, what it didn't feel right to you so you give it a low score, if thats the case then it is not a review, it is only the opinion of one person that works for some game magazine. Honestly we should take all reviews with a grain of salt, until we get a chance to play a game.

So I guess what I am saying is critics and people that review games really should never influence ones own choice to purchase a game until you actually have a chance to play it and see for yourself.

They said when reloading or throwing gernade it takes the reticule off the screen and can disorient you while in the heat of battle. I can see where that can be a problem in Online games where reaction speed/aiming has alot to do with how well you do.
