i saw a used wii for sale at Gameopoly today. what happens to the wii number is it the same or does it get a new number when it logges in to another connection? i wonder how many of my wii friends have sold their wii and my WFC?

the staff will probably do a system restore to reset it to factoryt defaults

It's pretty much guaranteed that the store will reset the system to factory defaults before re-selling it, I've never heard of anything otherwise. Plus, the Wii friend code changes when you reformat it, so there's no way you could possibly maintain a connection with someone who added you and then sold their Wii.
