going on catalina trip 3 days

ok me and my class are going on a trip to catalina, and I am allready deffinetley getting custom robo arena, but my dad said he would by me two games this month plus the guides.
so i was wondering if i should wait for pokemon diamond and get it with guide, or is their any wireless play that all of my freinds and i would just be able to rock out with for hours, so basically the question is Pokemon diamond or good good wirlless game. please tell me a good wireless game or shuold i stay with pokemon diamond
