Gold...Silver...Whatever?

I'm confused with how the Live works for Xbox...I think I'm going to get a subscription tommorrrow...but can you play online games such as Halo with out gold? And the cost thing...how much is it...I need help with some explination into this...

Your best bet is to go with an XBox Live Gold Account. As for the price, it costs $49.99 USD each year. The XBox Live Silver Account will not give you much...

Gold is the only way to play online I think

Oh and another thing...If I get the gold account, is the only way for my bro to play online to use my account or can you assign more than one profile to an account...because if I play Halo 3 online I don't him messing up my rank lol

One account per console I think. Although I think you can purchase additional accounts
