With paintball being played by over five million people each year, it’s no surprise that the sport has even thrown up a superstar of its own, with his own video games series, namely Greg “Red” Hastings. Majesco Entertainment has today announced the release of Greg Hastings Paintball 2 for the Wii, featuring more than 10 single-player and multiplayer game modes, each staged in all-new paintball locations based on actual fields around the world. The game also includes three new event branches: Tournament Speedball, Recball and Tournament Woodsball.
Enhancements added to the new game include an improved map editor, a cheat meter that wipes away paint splatters before you can be eliminated, plus lots of new gear and weapons. This is what Greg Hastings had to say about his game:

Greg Hastings Paintball 2 is due for release in September 2010.
