Concerning other bands, Huang also stated in an interview, "We've got a lot of songs and artists still that we would love to have. In particular, we've been trying to get Metallica, AC/DC and Led Zeppelin. So hopefully sometime in the near future, my wish and everybody's wish will come true and we can get some of their music in the game." However, out of these three bands, only Metallica could be attained.
In the October issue of Game Informer, the magazine gave a full review of Guitar Hero III a month before the game's release. It rated the game a 8.75/10, with a 9/10 as a second opinion.
Official Xbox Magazine has also reviewed the game in their December issue, giving it an 8/10.
Nintendo Power rated the game 9.0/10.
Playstation Magazine rated the game in their holiday issue, giving it a 9/10.

i don't know whats going on with Velvet Revolver they switched back n' forth between "Slither" and "She Builds Quick Machines", looks no VR afterall
