Looks like I was right... and everyone claimed it would be great rofl...

Glad to see they were smart enough to let you use gamecube controller.

just wanted to say i think in leader boards there are icons for each type of control so people know what you used, and also, is there a battle mode??

I was really rooting for the Wii Wheel after playing Excite Truck. How in the world did Nintendo fail to properly enforce motion control???
If the motion control is not close to th interactivity of Excite Truck. I'm skipping this game.

I hope so. I will prolly be using the Wiimote w/out the Wheel if that's the case.

I'm actually starting to get annoyed by gamecube controller compatibility. It's like Nintendo is taking a step back instead of looking forward. This gives more reason for critics to call the Wii remote a "gimick" and also slows down the adoption of motion sensing and gives developers another reason to be lazy.

How will it be able to tell if you've got the Wii remote in the wheel or not?

Will there be a version of the game available without the wheel?

lol. that's what I was thinking. I think it just "assumes" when you choose the motion control option.

Couple questions, can you play with the classic controller instead of GC one?
and how the heck can you do a trick by moving the wiimote at the right time after a jump if u play with a GC controller or Classic controller? will the tricks only be able to be performed with the wii mote?

alright fine... thats just what i was asking. if it was gonna be strictly a motion sensing thing, or a button on the controllers as well.

I'm definitely going to try the Wheel, but if it's as bad as they say it is, then I won't use it for long.

im guessing you plug it in like a gh controler or numbchuck.

i dont understand how the wii wheel is crap, i think the game would be 100% better if the motion sensor for steering worked good.( i think thats what there implying by saying the wii wheels crap)

I'm having trouble understanding that too. Racing on the Wii is the biggest revolution I've ever experienced on a home console. After playing excite Truck I was blown away!!

The only problem I see with the Wii wheel is no resistance when turning. Even when you using the nunchuck or GC controller you have resistance in the stick so it helps you, the wii wheel won't have that so I am guess the sensitivity won't be able to be set as high. But i am gonna give it a go, after all it's free

there will be an art to it... like driving in real life:
when making a left turn you don't turn so sharp that you need to feel the steering wheel stop when trurning far left.
