[FONT=&amp]With the news today that the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 midnight movie launch in the US last night has broken the record for the biggest midnight opening of all time, taking in $43.5 million in box office sales, anyone wanting to prolong the magical (no pun intended!) experience of watching the film a little longer should dash out and get the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 video game which was also released this week on all major consoles, including the Wii. Just like the film, the game’s explosive finale features all of the iconic moments and locations from the conclusion of Harry Potter’s journey, and enable fans to step into Harry’s shoes as he faces off against Voldemort and his dark forces for the final time. [FONT=&amp]In the game, the player gets to assume the role of their favourite wizard hero, as each play a vital part in the battle to defeat the Dark Lord. Play as Harry, Hermoine, Ron, Ginny, Seamus, Neville, Molly Weasley and Professor McGonagall in the final battle of Hogwarts. New enhanced gameplay features have been added to this last game in EA’s successful series, including an all-new spell casting mechanic and intuitive cover system, ensuring that the experience of duelling the most fearsome and formidable characters of the wizarding world has never been more realistic. “We have been closely linked with the Harry Potter film sensation since its inception, and look forward to playing a key part in the entertainment event of the decade,” says Harvey Elliott, GM at EA Bright Light. “We have worked extremely hard to deliver to fans the experience that they’ve always wanted – the opportunity to play not only as Harry, but as other key characters from the fiction as well. This game provides fans the most authentic and engaging Harry Potter gaming experience possible, and places you on the front lines for the final battle of Hogwarts.”
