Sites like HamGo Online are advertizing Wii Systems that are HD Ready. Is there a difference between the HD Ready system and a regular one ?

From what I'm hearing all the "HD Ready" packages are doing is tossing in a component cable. There are no variations in the Wii hardware itself.

Composite cable supports 480i (interlaced)

Component cable supports 480p (non-i/progressive scan)

(Technically neither are in the HD specification, but the components look better).

1) no their not advertising wii systems with modification to the hardware their just giving you a component cable to run 480p to play the wii in ED (Enhanced Definition).

2) No hamgo is not offering a HDTV wii. what's hamgo? please provide link.
