i love my wii but all of the sudden the wii does not display any images or sound but it seems to be working because I can turn it on or off, so with your guys expertise can tell me what the ** is going on!!!

Might be a problem with your console. You may want to contact Nintendo Customer Support and see what they have to say. Also be sure to check that you have all of your cables connected properly.
