Help! I'm a newbie!

hi, not only am i a newbie to this web site, but i am pretty much a newbie to the wii! the batteries in my remotes had run out, i changed the batteries in them but now it seems as if the remotes aren't calibrated or something. Is this an error that could be rectified by going through manual, or can one of you guys (or gals) help me??

try to sync the wiimote with the wii console.....it should tell you in the manual booklet....its the red button under battery cover of the wiimote and one next to the sd slot on the console
