Help needed!

Hi. This is probably answered somewhere on here so I apologise for a possible repeat, however I cant find the answer!

1. Can my wii play dvd's and cd's?
2. I have bought a karaoke dvd...will this play in my wii??

Only had it since it was released so you would think I would know these things, but it is only recently that I have had to work it lol
