help with excite truck

i keep unlocking new paint jobs but when i then try to race again, i never see the new paint jobs as a paint option before i race

what do I have to do to select the unlocked paint jobs?

If you've unlocked a new paint job for a particular truck, when you're about to select it to race with there'll be a little arrow either above or below the little picture. Press up or down to change paint jobs before pressing 2 to select it.

ohhhh! okay. i was trying to find it in the paint select screen, not the truck select screen!
