Help!! With two player on Cookin mama cook off

I just got cookin mama yesterday and I am having trouble setting up the two player mode. I have tried checking in "settings", I've tried turnig on my wiimote but it just shuts off. There is nothing wrong with my second mote either. Can someone help me? how do u add another wiimote?:crazy:

Turn on your Wii. Open up the battery part on the Wiimote thats not connecting and push the red button...then open up the flap on the front of your wii and push the red button wait a couple of secs and then the controller should rumble to verify a connection. Good luck.

that didn‘t work. im gona try changing the batterys. otherwise do u have any more suggestions?

if it DID work, youd see all the blue lights on the wiimote flashing for a while until it just selected one of em. IF none of em light up then you'll need new batteries.
As an alternative...if new batteries dont fix it, just keep pushing the sync button on the Wii and the one on the controller til it connects...
