HELP Zelda - 8 monkeys swingin and left with a lock i cant reach????

where do i get the key for this am i missing something

ive been everywhere

Is that part where there are 4 pillars and a gate blocking your way. If so then you have to using your boomerang in a set pattern. If you look at the floor you wee the pattern in which you have to go in order to open up the gate.

no this is after i gather up 8 monkeys and they all connect like barrell of monkeys

and they swing me to this door with a lock and chain on it

but its too tall for me to reach

Okay i have no idea where your at? Did you get the compass yet? Do you have the key you need for the lock? Are you at the door to the boss? If your right below the door leading to the boss and you have all 8 monkeys then you should be able to jump across successfully. Time your jumps to get to the other side.

He just needs the boss key. Look on the dungeon map and see where the chests are, and go to them.
