It's Christmas morning and we're setting up our new Wii. Everything's fine, but the console is not pulling in the disc. The blue light goes on and it makes a sound like it's trying to pull it in, but it doesn't do anything. We're putting it in the right way -- have unplugged and replugged it into the wall. I've tried to check to see if there's something already in it, but I'm afraid I'll break it. Has anyone else had this problem? Any solutions?

Yeah, it sounds as if your disc feed is broken. I'd try a few more times but you'll probably have to send that wii into Nintendo to get it fixed...

yeah try pushing it in a little more, it might not be catching the disc. if all else fails call nintendo they will replace it for free since you just bought it recently.
