Hey guys i need some help

Im gna get the wii in a few days and i found out about this thing of the friend codes can anyone explain how this works exactly and erm if i can possibly get round it ?? tnx :scared: :shocked:

friend codes mean if you dont add someone and they dont add your friendcode, you guys cant really do anything together.

okay basically what the person above said. you have a code, your friend or someone else has a code. you tell each other the code and you can play together and do other stuff online.

yea. or if you have a game that randomly chooses youre opponents, there is a SLIM chance if youre friend is playing out there somewhere, youre gonna get paired up.

each wii has a friends code

to email another wii from your wii you need 2 things:
1. their wii friend code entered into wii
2. your wii code entered into their wii

when u done that u can do a few things
email pictures, miis and messages
have mii (that are on roam) join other peoples mii parades
a few online features (not many games have online but on mario strikers u can see if their playing strikers right then and there)
thats all i know as of yet
(no messaging and no audio or video but that may be due to lack of peripherals)

if more online games come out it might b more useful
unless they all have their own servers like ea and medal of honor n sports n stuff so they dont even use the friends codes

but for now u can play a specific friend online
some games let you compare scores

it isnt used for much yet so only time will tell
