how can i connect the wii to the internet? idk how but ive heard its totally worth it:shifty:
Computer + Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector = online play.
If you have a wireless router, create a new connection and just search for an access point in the internet section of the options menu. just follow the on screen instructions
It depends what will work best for your situation, As "BIGWAVE" stated, that would be best :yesnod: , however you can attach and Ethernet cable to the console (wired) and I find the speed quite (perceivable) faster. (IMO because I stream a lot of music and videos to my Wii) So again it depends on whats most convenient for you.
For "Dorkfish", again this will also work if you have the router but if you, say live on a college campus, this would not be as easy. Please provide more information if you could. (unless one the above suggestions work for you)
i want the best for like going on myspace and youtube on it
where could i get one of those
I take it you don't own a computer?
A wireless router? Going to a store might be a good start. Pretty much any store aside from grocery stores sell them.
well if u want to get on myspace and youtube u need to buy the internet channel unless u have or someone nice send u one *i wish someone would send me something* and a connection
i know i need the cannels but whats the best to get the channels
i got a pc except my whole family uses it
thers like only one way to get channel by going to wii shop channel and buying the channel with a wii points card thers also other channels free for download
what do i ned to get the internet and conect it to the wiii
ok listen up... your family has the internet right? is it wireless or wired if you dont know ask... then you need to go to your local gaming shop and buy wiipoints in australia its around 30 bucks per 2000 points... when you get the wii connected to the internet you can go into the shop channel and buy the internet browser channel... you should have like 1500 points left with that you can also buy old school games... 1st i need to know do you have wire or wireless internet??
and in us its like 19.99 for 2000
yeah thats BS becouse our dollar is nearly equal to yours... i started a thread our games are 100 dollars each yours are only 50? that really annoys me
Do you have Broadband?? As far as i know you need that, as is with most things nowadays. Just buy a wireless router, hook the internet into it from the modem and just pick up the signal on your Wii. If you dont buy a wireless card for your computer and its hooked up to the internet via ethernet cable, buy another one, cuz you'll need One running from the modem to ur router and one running from the router to the computer.
Well, i was assuming this guy wasnt in college, and i wouldnt know anything about Internet access on college campus', cuz im only fifteen and havnt looked into any of that. Still gots 2 years...
Routers almost always come with an ethernet cable, so an additional one is not needed.
*smacks head* duh, didn't even think of that
am i missing something here? I looked on the Wii, and i didnt see any place for an ethernet cord to connect to.
I do live on a college campus. and would like the wireless to work out, but im kinda stuck... but I dont want to hujack this thread.
could you please help me out here?
