How come after i save it and play later on, i start b4 i was

I will save it before i am about to fight, ot in the middle of doing something,then later on it starts me off a little back. Like i got throug the fog and kept on jumping and am about to fight some of those creatures shadows, so i saved it cause its time for dinner. Then when i would play, it starts off at the fog?? why? is it b/c i am in the middle of a task or somethign?

usually in places like dungeons and stuff, when you save and quit, and then start playing again, you start at the very beginning of the dungeon. not sure why that is, but it was intentional on the developers part.

its how all zelda games are. saves you at beginging of rooms. and begining of dungeons. saves everyhting you have though.

Same Problem

I don't mind the starting over in a dungeon - but last night I finished collecting the tears in Lake Hyrule, I had gone back to the castle and started the escort. . I saved a few times between those two times. when I started up again I was only partially done the tear collection. I was a little bummed about that.

That's very strange. When I completed those tears and got to the escort, I saved and quit. When I played again, I was at the point outside of that castle town where that little Zora Boy was. Not far from the escort at all, although I did have to joust that guy on the bridge again.
