You must not be accustomed to the world of removing ladders while swimming, setting of fireworks in the house, and neglecting the children. It's so...morbidly entertaining.

I agree, I found the first Sims a little entertaining. However the idea of living a fictional life in fast foward mode after a few hours, made me lose all apreciation for the game franchise. If any of you have lived life you'll find the Sims to be a dull summary of life itself. Life is a million times more exciting than the Sims ever will be. So go out there and live it, appreciate the fact that you don't need to take a crap every 15 mins, eat every hour, and go to work every few hours.
