How Do I play a dvd movie on my wii

I just got this wii from my stepson and for some reason I can't get it to play dvd movies on the wii. Can someone please help me??

The Wii doesn't play DVDs or Blu-ray, sorry to say.

I would recommend getting netflix for your console that or buy a dvd player. I have netflix myself and i love it, i can watch whatever whenever i please.
