how do preorders and store quanities work?

never noticed, but on launch,, do these stores get more wii's than amount preordered, or to they just get (example) 8 preordered wii's. and 8 "launch" systems????

I got my wii pre order at eb games (in canada) and they took 15 preorders at my store so on november 19th they take 15 wiis and put them in the back and hold them for 2 days (it may be different in us) and if you pick it up within the 2 ddays you get it.

yea I think its the same in the US

im sure they get more than "8" but since they dont want to give them all out on pr-order they probably only sell 1/2 on pre-order
