This is true, except they mildly factor in how well the game sells, which means all games currently priced at 30$ retail will not be the exact same value as a trade in. Id say 12$ at Gamestop in U.S. for RE4. (just an estimate)

Well I personally thought the game was worth more than the $30 I spent. Now most $30 games wouldn't trade for anything more than $10 but I think you could score about $15.

I got some post from Game yesterday, and in it was the November Trade-in price guide, and it states that you would get £18 for Resident Evil 4. So go to Game and get that! You live in Scotland don't you so I doubt the American estimates would be much use!

Don't sell it at a store too quickly! Try and find a friend who might want it first.
They wont rip you off. I always do that.

If nobody wants it then try a garage sale. lots of other thing you can sell too.
For you last possibility sell it at a local game store.
