HTS9800W and WII Remote interference

I have a HTS9800W soundsystem that uses wireless rear speakers. It seems this system has problems with the wii remote.

In some sections the cursor flashes rapidly when the soundsystem is turned on (wii channel for example). Also sounds coming from the wii remote sounds like crap when the soundsystem is turned on. Turning the system off, everything goes smooth.

I tried using the channel switch on back of the rear soundsystem. Didn't help.
Also tried switching channels by pressing the SOUND button (5 secs.) but didn't help either.

Is it possible to use another channel for the wii remote?

The Wii remotes use the Bluetooth standard for wireless connections. I'm not sure off hand what frequency range that operates in, but it appears there's a conflict with your wireless speakers. I don't think Bluetooth has options for changing frequencies.
