I have dialup. Can I download Wave Rider from friend's house?

I'd like to get Wave Rider 64, which I hear is great. I understand that it is only available as a 1000 point download. Can I use a friend's connection to download, or do you have to maintain a connection periodically to use the virtual console? And if I can do it, what equipment does it take? Does the game download to the HD or do you have to buy a memory card? Sorry, just learning.

I'm thinking you can download it at your friends house and still play it at yours. You dont need a SD card to save it too, you can save it on the memory (not a HD).

No once you download it, unless you delete it, it stays on your Wii and you can unhook the wii from the internet but you'll still have it.

You'll need to take your console to your mate's house. You can't download it on one console, copy it to an SD card and then play it on another console. It will only play on the console it is downloaded onto.

I have dial-up and a nintendo Wi-fi adapter i was wondering if i can use it to acess the shop channel as normally i have to take my Wii to my mates to download my games, any help on this cheers

You need to have a broadband connection to download the games .. .. .. the wifi dongle thing only creates a wireless access point to your network if you only have a wired connection.
