I need help connecting my Wii to my LAN connection

I just got a ethernet/LAN adapter for my cpu, and I am trying to use it with my wii and ethernet cord. However everytime my wii does it's connection test, it shows either error code 512020 or 512022. Idk why it doesn't connect, but I would like it to, without having to purchase a Nintendo Brand USB ethernet adapter. My adapter is said to be able to work with the Wii. Thanks,Droidlynn

Try going to wii settings then go to the internet settings and click on "search for access point" At that point find your wireless connector and click on it don't forget to put your password into the the connector. it should work if not let me know, i could probably help you figure out the problem. :yesnod:

Actually I tried connecting to wireless, and it didn't work. I don't have a good wireless signal at my house.I tried connecting to a wired connection using my ethernet adapter and cord, but it didn't work.
