I need help improving my paint graphics

Try shrinking your two human pictures width-wise a little, and it will look more in proportion. The 'Objection!' one looks perfect.

once you drop them into paint they are part of the canvas... maybe narrow the whole graphic and it won't distort the OBJECTION too bad?

Ok, I just downloaded GIMP secretly (I feel dirty inside :lol and I'm a bit overwhelmed by all the buttons and whatnot. Can someone explain to me what these buttons do (and their name)?

In gimp, how do you take off the white squaresurrounding copy & pasted images?

I assume you want the out line of the pasted image to match the out line of the full image

Ok, I got paint.net, andso far I like it, but I'm having the same problem I did with Gimp! You knowhow when you c&p images, it's got a large white square surrounding it? On paint there was a button to get rid of that! But I can't find the button on paint.net.
