    Well It Depends:

    Answer These 3 Questions:

Do You Have An Mp3 Player?
    Do You REALLY NEED One?
How Much Are You Willing To Spend?

I Am Fairly Happy With My Ipod Video. I Am Going To Get An Ipod Nano 3rd Generation 8Gig Black When I Get Back in Arizona.

I must say that I didn't really support iPods, but they're amazing. I highly suggest the new iPod nano. Its extremely small, yet has a very large screen. It is quite bright and can play videos. The 4 gig version is $149 but I suggest you get the 8 gig for $200.

Exactly what I got for christmas

A podcast is a video made my certain people which can be downloaded through iTunes. To answer your question, all podcast's are free :)

Oh and I have an iTouch..

    I don't like the I-Pods. I rather get a Zune 2

I've been debating this with myself. I like the iPod Classic, but I don't like iTunes. My girlfriend has the black 80GB one, and I've messed around with it. I just hate the way iTunes converts your music to M4P, and I don't like how it organizes the music. This is my only gripe though, so I think I'm just going to have to deal with it and buy one.

I currently have a 1GB MobiBlu player, but I need something that I can put ALL of my music on.

    I love my 80gb Video I-pod.
And I loved my Nano (original when I had one)

They are a good investment, whatever one you buy its worth it

I have yet to download any videos for my iTouch. However, when I get around to it and or add money to my iTunes account, I'll probably be purchasing some music videos and TV Shows. Oh, on the iTouch, it has a youtube button which allows you watch and search for your favourite youtube vids. So far, the quality has been pretty good.

I'd certainly suggest an ipod. I have the iPod video and the 16gb ipod touch at the minute, and I'm going to buy a 160 gb ipod classic soon enough.
The only problem I have with them is how easy it is to scratch the back.
And I know they make cases, but they change the look of the ipod and I don't like them.

ipods are a waste of money IMO. i have a creative zen and it works just fine for me and it cost like a 1/3 of the cost i think (dunno, gift) but itouch is a nice mp3 player, if you really want an ipod, get that one.

I really like my 30 gig video iPod, and the new Touches look pretty sweet. Only thing is I may need an 80 gig here in a bit, my 30 is almost full up. In then end I would definitely recommend it.

My family gave me an Ipod for the holidays (the 'classic' one) and I love it. It probably has the most options, except for the Zune which has wireless syncing, than any of the other MP3 players out there and the widest availablity of 3 party add ons like cases and speakers.
    Two things to add,
    1) if you don't like ITunes, and many don't, you can use a program called MediaMonkey to manage the music on your Ipod. The basic version is free, just go to Mediamonkey.com and download it. This program is a very highly rated media manager and will even manage your podcasts for you. However, it won't connect to the itunes store, you'll still have to use itunes for that.
    2) If you still end up using Itunes you can go into the advanced options tab and tell the program to rip music into *.mp3 format. That's what I do since that way I can also put the mp3's onto a cd and play them on my car stereo.

    Hope this helps.

Definitely get one. You won't regret it. I have a 30GB 5G, (video) but that is getting a little dated, so I want to get an iPhone, or an iPod touch. But my music won't fit on either of them, so I will probably end up getting an iPod classic too.

And for ****s sake, people, it is iPod. Not Ipod, or I-Pod.
