i would add wolf for link, midna, leon, ada, and shadow the hedgehog.
Let me lay it out in categories.
Characters I would add:
-Wolf Link
-Megaman
-Spyro (hey, they put snake in there for crying out loud)
Assist Trophies:
-Midna (wolf link)
-Koopa Troopa (Bowser)
-Zant (Ganondorf)
Final Smash attacks:
-Ganondorf becomes Ganon
-Wolf Link [uses midna] to transform into midna's twilight form (huge spider thing)
-Pikachu evolves into Riachu
Stages:
-Kakiro Village
-Convexity (found in Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning)
-Mario Strikers Charged arena
Other:
- Tag team mode
- Some sort of sports game (Smash Bros. basketball or something)
- Better story
- Clan battles or tournaments
- Clan ratings
- Player ratings
- "Smash of the game", highlighting the best move in the match after its over
- "Slow-mo" style attacks (like the game slows down in MSC before a big hit), this would be optional of course
- Custom stage editor
- Downloadable characters/stages/items
- Mini games, 1-4 players
- Mii's can be used as fighters (Chuck Norris vs. Mr. T....well, the game might explode because it couldn't handle the awesomeness)
