Im confussed about friend codes...

I got my wii online today! basically I have a wii code for ssbb... is there a wii code for my actual console? or isit just for games? and also is your code different for every game you play?
ALSO for someone to appear on your friends list do you have to add their friend code even if they have already added you or do you just accept their request and thats that?
