I'm Getting a DS :D, But i don't know what game i should get 1st...

Does anybody have any tips on what game i should get first for my DS?..

um well most people like having super mario as their first game, i did but i beat it in like a week and sold it off,then i got mario kart great buy still own it, metroid prime hunters was next cool game prob the best multiplayer game out but i sold it off as well i regret it sometimes.. at the same time i bought resident evil ds love this game play it more then any game! got ff3 the first day it came out awesome game love this game one of my fav rpgs as of late.. the last game i got was phoenix wright (japanese game) great fun but alot of people dont get it... O almost forgot Mario 64 is a must have!!!! hope i helped

I Would Recomend Trauma Center Under The Knife, Though It Can Get Hard In The Last Couple Chapters...It Really Is My Favorite DS Game.

There are some great DS games really depends on wether you have WiFi or not, if your do I'd get Metroid Hunters (I had it for a bit) or MKDS. If you don't, Mario 64 and Phoenix Wright are both great games although Phoenix Wright is only good if you like text based games.

A good all round game in my opinion is Tetris DS; good online mode and lots of singleplayer modes, the best tetris released so far

I bought my DS about 3 weeks ago, not intending to spend much money on games, so I tried to pick one game I knew I'd spend a ton of time with. Well I now own 6 games and I've barely used the Wii since I got the DS lol But I got Mario Kart first and don't regret it. Since then I've gotten Brain Age, Nintendogs, Clubhouse Games, Pokemon Diamond, and Tetris DS. Clubhouse Games has the most replay to it of all of them but I'd say I'm batting 100% cuz I LOVE every game I've gotten. Pokemon Diamond has consumed my life lately so everything but that and Tetris are collecting dust lately and Tetris only cuz I bought it yesterday.
So depending on what you're looking for in a game, I'd say pick between Mario Kart, Clubhouse Games, and Pokemon Diamond/Pearl.

I'd have to agree with Super Samsh Bros here, I think Mario Kart DS and Pokemon Pearl are my two favourite games thus far!

Super Monkey Ball (good for a few hours but not worth it)

Zelda four swords is a fun gameboy advance game, children of mana is a great game...just bought it last night and was totally worth it, brain age is a really good game...although I have lost interest in it, new super mario brothers is a must have, final fantasy 3 is a pretty good game, I'm not interested in pokemon but from what I know..all pokemon games are very solid choices. I might exclude pokemon snap from that though...maybe pokemon dash too.
