im new th the wii...need some help please!

ive just noticed that if i have motion plus plugged in and play wiiboxing when i throw a punch or pause the game the sound on the wiimote goes a bit crackly....
its fine on all the wiisports games...havent tried wii sports resort yet...
is this normal...does this happen to you guys as well?
is it an incompatability issue?
any advice would be appreciated...
