is it possible to edit some things in my profile so that when i click on "New Posts" at the top of the page i would only see nintendo related posts cuz i don't have a ps3 or a 360 (i am a nintendo fan)

Not to my knowledge...
New Posts will just bring up all new posts.
What you can do though, is only look in the sections you want. You can navigate through these through the front page.

anyway the feature i mentioned would be a good addition to the site
