Is the memory card worth it?

How much does the stock wii memory hold? And is it enough to store wii sports progress and one game progress?

umm you can save it to the wii's built in memory (think its 512 mb) but if you want an SD card i wouldnt pay more than 40 for one

The built in flash memory will hold you for quite a while unless you download every VC game (which can get quite expensive). Games saves take around 2 Blocks and the internal memory has something like 2000 Blocks.

No need for the memory card for the wii,... unless you plan on getting a lot of VC games

any even then you can only load them and game saves off internal memory.... pretty pointless lol nintendo need to fix that

Don't you need an SD card to put pictures and such onto the wii? If so, that's the only reason I would think to get one... Also, I've heard rumors that there is going to be a music channel... That could be another use. *shrug*

I wouldn't buy one right now.

yes pictures, music and video.but thats why i have a bloody computer, stereo and dvd player so its a waste of money imho

ditto. Messing around with pics on the wii is fun, but the real use of the wii is for the games
