I need a n64 controller that connects to the wiimote because it doesn't work when I connect it to the gamecube ports with an adapter. Is there an adapter that I can buy for cheap that will plug into the wiimote? Or perhaps could I make one?

I'm fairly certain there are no "official" N64 controller adapters. However one I found does work quite well but it's a bit pricey. You can check it out here: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B007PVC30M
