Is Wiiconnect24 bad?

Is it bad? because i leave my wii on standby all the time, yes it does get a little warm sometimes, but nothing more than normal. Could leaving my wii on standby and using wiiconnect24 lead to problems?

No The Wii when in WiiConnect 24. is in a low power state causing nothing to happen...nothing can happen to it.
