Issue with AU/EU VC version of Super Metroid

Okay, has anyone here got Super Metroid from the VC Store? if so, notice there's no way to turn off additional text.. there's German, or French, but no way to turn it off!

I guess this applies to the Australian/European region

There's nothing you can do about it, I'm afraid. Don't worry though, the subtitles only appear in the intro.

True I thought maybe nintendo would put a bit more care into **** like that... ah well, you're right, no biggy

On that topic, has anyone else found differences like that occuring in other games they used to play, compared to nowadays?
