Java on the wii

Is it possible to install Java onto a USB Flash Drive or any other portable device and get it onto the wii?

The current browser implementation does *not* support Java (it supports an older version of Flash) - also since it's not an open OS, you can't just plug in a JRE (which doesn't exist for the Wii anyway).

what you can do is download ie onto a ds card and put it in your wii and use that

The Wii's Opera browser supports JavaScript, but not Java (despite the similar name, they are not at all the same thing).
