killstreaks upgrade on life or better defence

Strategical harm amigo, strategical harm.

... Do you want your position revealed on the mini-map? I sure don't.

Nobody does, im one of the biggest (or was before I quit) Assassin whores in the game, I hated being up on UAV and counter UAV/EMP is too much of a hassle to deal with as well. If your really struggling with killstreaks then i'd just take blind eye, nothing is more frustrating then called in air support that doesn't kill anything hence my love for the less aggresive killstreaks and more tactical ones.

im more a zerk whore

slieght
hardline
steady

Hardline is garbage 'less you're running Specialist and are incredibly impatient, and even then, Overkill is generally the better choice IMO.

Meh I can't stand overkill, it must be an OCD thing to always have a pistol side-arm or something, having two primary weapons irritates me to all hell.

When you use Hardline correctly however it makes helluva difference, think about it. Support UAV only with hardline, for 3 UAV's it requires 9 kills, otherwise it takes 12 kills. Same goes for assault if your a better player, 2 kills for a UAV, for 4 UAV's thats only an 8 point streak! True you are limiting yourself but if your good at gun play and want to improve it even more then its one hell of a way to do it.

Kills ain't exactly hard to come by in CoD, thus, my disapproval of Hardline stems from this. Sure, UAV only Hardline has a place in srsly srs clan matches where people actually communicate and have a strategy laid out prior to a match, but that doesn't mean it's half as viable in your standard play with randoms.

Hardline's only two uses are to focus on killstreaks or speed up Specialist; I suppose the former does have viability, but it's hardly the best option one could go for. Hardline ain't gonna save your ass from an explosive so your Assault streak continues on, nor is it a replacement for Assassin. As you know, since you were once an Assassin whore. :p

Hardline is an XP whoring perk to me, although one kill often doesn't make a difference it can in some rare situations, Constant UAV is a **** load more XP then you think when it adds up in total, same goes with specialist first kill things. You get like 100-200XP for achieving the streak for a specialist perk and one kill isn't hard to come by.

Assassin overall is the superior perk choice and when did this turn into "Which perk is the best perk ever?"

If for some ungodly reason I ever buy MW3 (not happening lol), I'll keep that XP grinding idea in mind. :D

It never did; my intention was this discussion to be "Hardline is an inferior choice in every situation". I wouldn't of referenced Blast Shield alongside Assassin otherwise... 'Cause Assassin definitely is the best Tier 2 perk in terms of functionality and usability for most, if not all loadouts.

... It just occurred to me that we're quite off topic. >_>; Woops.

Assassin Pro = You're typical Camp/***** Warfare 3 player.
Anyway in my own personal opinion I think the "Flak Jacket" perk of each COD is truly the best.

EDIT: btw HEY GUYS! To make this more off-topic.....thoughts on E3!?

How's that flak jacket in WaW coming along? Assassin is the ONLY way to play MW3 with a shotgun, there's almost no way to successfully get close enough from the map designs without getting blasted from ten years away. Other then that, have fun being on radar 24/7 because people seem to be running it more often.

Hybrid's Shotty Class:

Primary: Spas w/i Grip && Damage
Secondary: Stinger (specifically to take down UAV, advance UAV, Counter UAV)

Lethal: Frag
Tactical: Concussion

Perk 1: Extreme Conditioning Pro
Perk 2: Blast Shield Pro
Perk 3: Steady Aim Pro

KillStreak: Assault Package- Predator Missile, AirStrike, Attack Chopper (on ps3) or Sentry Gun, AirStrike, Attack Chopper (on Wii)
DeathStreak: Hollow Points

Notice how I don't use Assassin or any spy planes for that matter. I usually go 25-33 kills and about 7-14 deaths using this class.
It isn't the greatest of scores but I do sure get my thrills along with making grown men cry while they have ASSASSIN equiped with...
the typical spam usage of Scar, PP90, MP7, ACR, TYPE-95, MK14 <<<<< ALL silenced

Assassin is a tool which encourages camping now that's the bottom line. Same thing with HeartBeat Sensor /Fact

EDIT: World at War is my favorite COD. Thompson all the way for me. ;D

Funny enough thats the worst Shotty in the game. Running Stingers and not is a completely different matter, I feel akward not having a pistol for longer ranges as I tend to remove them then find myself in unwinnable situations where the shotgun can't reach the enemy. It's not particularly hard to do well in Call of Duty I mean its generally a no-skill game unless you force yourself under certain limitations.

Assassin Pro = You're typical Camp/***** Warfare 3 player.

Morons who use Assassin to camp are... well, yeah. *****-ass campers that everyone hates. Assassin is MUCH more useful for rush-down and aggro playstyles, particularly when you're behind enemy lines with a silencer. Everyone using Assassin ain't a hapless camper, bro.

nope.avi

Well, as Hybrid is usin', having a Stinger to blast UAVs down means you don't have to run Assassin to keep off the radar. Havin' Blast Shield when you're in the enemy's face and are likely to encounter some explosives obviously has it's benefits lol. Assassin & Secondary and Blast Shield & Stinger have their own advantages. The latter particularly being helpful to your team by offing AS while still bein' an aggrofaggot.

... Overkill for somethin' better at a range than pistol, perhaps? >_>;

I find the swap times too long and as i've already mentioned it, it's an OCD thing from the past games and newer games supporting the "One Primary, one sidearm" type of thing that CoD had going on before Stopping Power was removed.
