There’s just no stopping that ever-loveable ball of pink smiling gorgeousness known as Kirby, as today Nintendo has announced that the star of Kirby’s Epic Yarn will be returning to the Wii in Europe from tomorrow, June 23, with his own dedicated TV channel. The Kirby TV Channel will be available as a completely free download, and will feature TV shows starring Kirby, the legendary Star Warrior, as he battles King Dedede in Dream Land.

The channel will enable Kirby fans to view over 50 Kirby episodes that will be updated twice a week over a six month period. The channel’s programme schedule can be checked just like a real TV channel, with four streaming episodes available at a time. Every week, two more new episodes will become available, one on a Monday and one on a Thursday, and they will then be available to view for two weeks before being archived to make way for new episodes.* Episode 1 is permanently unlocked so Kirby fans can watch how he came to arrive in Dream Land at their leisure. Episodes from the archives may also be unlocked randomly from time to time, so keep an eye out!

The Kirby TV Channel will be available to fans in the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, Ireland, Greece, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Austria, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Australia and New Zealand. Most episodes, with a few exceptions, will be available in English, German, French and Italian.
